Recently retired. Still plenty to offer.

AJ and Ted may be retired from their day jobs, but they are not ready to stop being useful. After years of fixing, building, maintaining and improving things around their own homes—and helping family, friends and neighbours do the same—they wanted a way to stay active, share what they know and spend part of retirement doing work they genuinely enjoy.

This is not about turning retirement into another full-time job. It is about taking on a manageable number of projects each week, meeting people close to home, solving practical problems and helping neighbours get through the jobs that have been sitting on their lists. Along the way, they can earn a little extra retirement income and pass useful skills on to grandchildren and local young helpers when it is appropriate and safely supervised.

Every request starts with a conversation and a free estimate. If a job fits their experience and can be done safely, they will explain how they can help. If it requires a licensed trade or falls outside their scope, they will say so plainly.

We focus on practical, everyday work. We do not take on electrical, gas, structural, roofing, work-at-height, hazardous-material, major plumbing or permit-required jobs ourselves, but we may be able to offer a local referral if your project calls for one.
